Mr. John Scott Geddes

Nell, I was so very surprised and saddened last week to hear about John's passing over a year ago. This news has caused me to reflect back to our time together more than 20 years ago at Planning Dynamics. I have such fond memories of both you and John. Always so kind, caring, supportive and good to me. He was a wonderful man and I can only imagine how much he has been missed by your family. Stay strong and please get in touch.

Kind, gentle and friend are but a few words to describe John. He was always fun to be with and his love for and pride in his family were always evident. A real gentleman and just a downright good guy! Many fond memories of our banking days together. He will be missed.

I've known John for just a few years and in that time we became old friends. We shared many insights in our work but mostly we were engaged in a battle of quick wits and one liners that kept us both laughing for hours on end. I had a great deal of affection for John and was saddened when his health was starting to fail him because it meant we didn't get to see each other as much. It was not more than a week ago that we were planning our next get together after his daughter's wedding. I was shocked by his passing and deeply sorry to see him go. I will miss him. So sorry for your loss

The universe just lost one of its' brightest stars this week. John always left you feeling a little wiser, a little happier and hours later, still giggling about one of his funnies. He was a smart and classy "family" guy who just knew how to work a room with his gentle manner and humour. I've lost a great friend and mentor this week, but I know he is up there cracking jokes and proudly showing his latest pictures and stories about his amazing family, especially Ms. Nell - his favourite girl. We'll meet again my friend.
