John F. Geyer

John is an old friend from our school days in Mt Oliver, and Brentwood! We both lived on Quincy Ave, and were good friends and neighbors in the 1950s. We would run into each other may times through the years, and share a few memories when we did. My family relocated to Florida in 1989, and we just seemed to lose touch with people that we enjoyed seeing and talking to. I am a little surprised that John was still in Pittsburgh because the last time that I saw him, he told me that he was probably going to retire to the state where he was born, which was maybe Colorado if I remember correctly! If I'm not correct on that state, blame it on my advanced years. At any rate, I wish to extend my sincere condolences to his family, and I pray that John will rest in peace! I will hold a lot of good memories of him in my heart!
