GIOVANNINI, John Passed in his 69th year, on September 23, 2011, after a courageous battle against cancer. Surrounded in love by his wife Beverley (nee Renaud), daughters; Melanie McLagan (David), Andrea Rago (Nicholas), and step-children Darren Matthews, Melissa Bessette (Cory) and Robyn Kelly (Chris). His legacy will be carried forward through his grandchildren Paige, Abegail, Chlo, Connor, Neve, Reese, and Dominic. Predeceased by his parents Celestine and Olivia (Murray), his brother Gregory and his wife's parents Albert and Nora Renaud (Dupont). Survived by his siblings; Elizabeth Dobbin, Adolphe Giovannini (Dan-ica), Jeannette Holden (David), Mary Chidley (Mike), Ethel Maria Giovannini, Patrick Gio-vannini, Ce-Anne Giovannini (Meg), sister-in-law Whil-omena Giovannini, and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with John's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736- 2134) on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from 4-6 p.m., followed by a "Celebration of Life" at 6 p.m. Donations to Hospice Residential Home ( www.thehospice.ca or 519- 974-7100) would be appreciated. A "leaf" on the "Hospice Tree of Remembrance" has been purchased in honour of John. John wants us to remember, "Those you love don't go away. They walk beside you every day." I wish to offer my condolences to John's family especially Bev who was his rock. John was a special man a testimony to the gentle man who he truly was. He will be sadly missed.
