Real sorry to hear of this. We were good friends thru high school and we ran in to each other several times over the past 15 years. Lots of good memories, you'll be missed. RIP brotha.

To the Glona Family - Beautiful service on Sunday. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Growing up across the street from ya'll, John was like my brother. He teased me and cared for me just like a brother would. I have the best memories of us hanging out at each other's houses, going to the beach, parties, long talks, playing quarters, Friday nights on Westheimer, driving me to the hospital when I had my first panic attack, getting my first day of D-Hall when he took me and my friends to lunch my senior year (we were not allowed to leave campus), taking crazy photos every where we went, packing up his truck and dropping me off at A&M my freshman year, making fun of me for crying when I was missing my Mom after he dropped me off, making pitcher of margaritas and bringing them over to my house for me and my Mom.....and the memories continue on and on. John will always hold a special place in my heart. Praying for comfort and peace to you all.

John was a great cousin and a great guy! I will always remember having fun at the farm fishing, hunting, driving the tractor and more...You will be sorely missed.

John and I grew up two houses away in the Meadows, and went to school with each other through graduation at Clements. He was always fun to be around. Since he never liked his picture taken, I am glad you found one to post here, and with his favorite beverage! I will keep him in my memories.

Words can not even begin to express my sympthy for you. I had no idea John was so involved with a myriad of projects, had a love of volunteering, nor was so into baseball, thank you for sharing that with the rest of us. May your hearts soon be filled with all of the wonderful times you had with John and that your memories of all the good times you had with him help you through the pain of your loss. Our deepest sympathies for John's family and boys. John was an amazing neighbor! I can't count the number of times he rescued me with my a/c, my car, a broken water heater, etc. And he was the life of the party and so much fun to be around. He was much appreciated and will be deeply missed! If there is ANYTHING we can do for you, please let us know.
