Missing dad and mom on this day that would have been dad's 92nd birthday, August 30, 2023.

On this Memorial Day I look back on past Memorial Days when I would walk with dad into Pleasant Lake for the Memorial Day service. I miss him very much, as I do mom.

I miss my dad, an Army Veteran, on this Veteran's Day November 11, 2022. He will always be my hero.

On this August 30, 2022 with tears I am pleased to make the first post about my dad on this day that would be his 91st birthday. Dad told the story that when I was little I was up front in church with a children's group and I said out loud to the little boy beside me "That's my daddy! Hi daddy!" as I pointed out my daddy in the congregation. All these years later I am just as proud of my daddy as I was then, and I miss him and mom so very much.
