Hastings was one of the most charismatic and authentic people that passed through Montford. His inner security to show up and be himself was always so clear and he was loved deeply for that. I routinely think of him and his quirky dances, phrases and laughter. My heart goes out to he loved and those that loved him.

My son Levi made music with Hastings and knew him well over the past year+. Hastings was at our home on a number of occasions and was kind, humble, funny and clearly talented. I personally am heart-sick over his passing. Levi is not in Charlotte at the moment but he is aware and I know sends his love to your family. This is a hard realization for a young person to fully grasp. Hastings will always be remembered by our family. May God bless your family as you begin the journey of healing. Much love--

I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy; empathy; love and extreme hope for healing for your family-
My son Tucker was at Montford with Hastings and we both wanted to send our love
I have yet to experience this ultimate grief ..... the worst grief a parent can live through-
My words are hollow....
I cannot soothe as I wish....
Nothing soothes this GRIEF....
It´s a leviathan..... that surfaces...... then descends only to rise again ....
Tucker and I want you to know we know everyone who knew Hastings will have a Hastings shaped hole in our hearts for all of time!
Much love, and prayers for peace and healing
