John, Jr. -- I am so sorry to hear of the death of your dear father. I knew him through your Uncle Mike and Aunt Stephanie. The Lord has taken him home. Be at peace.

Dear Halko-Family,Bro.John was indeed,a brother as were his other brothers and sister, Steph. We connected through being good neighbors and enjoying various sports together. I would have to say that John was the calmer one of the brothers. At this writing, some awesome memories are slipping through my mind. Sincere condolences to each of you. I'm proud to have been a member of his family. You are truly blessed . Sincere condolences to each of you.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow attendee and the family at this time. Attendees are recognized on the theory "if it's important to some to mention in an obit, then we can spare a few prayers". Perhaps, the time at MC was both formative and important to our comrade. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
