SFC (Ret.) John Edward Harris

Rip Mr. Harris... though I never got the pleasure to meet you personally, we are bonded together as family! You raised a fine man that I am proud to call my better half and the father of my children. You are greatly missed and thought of often. The holidays are here and I know that it's a hard time for many that you knew and loved you because you are not here to share them with. I pray that they find strength to carry them through this difficult time of year. You were a great husband to Armanda and father to the boys and i know they all miss you sooo much, but they carry you always in their hearts and forever will! The family chain may have a missing link now, but one day when we are all reunited that chain will be whole again.

Dad, there will never be another like you! Just the other day, I took time to myself, and out of hurt and love, I shredded more tears. I know the thing about death comes to all of us. But why did you have to go.... I know since you will be gone, my spare time my tears will fall out of love and respect for you...
