John Franklin Havens

I have now lived in Florida for many years but I still cannot watch an Ohio State football game without thinking of Jack - I bet he was somehow upset with that loss to Michigan this year!

On a recent trip to Columbus for my Uncle Howard's 90th Birthday, we heard the news of Jack's passing. I was privileged to know Jack and Sally thru my parents , Dr John M Lowery and Caroline. He was a true mentor and provided much support and good advice in my early days in my career. As a neighbor on Club Road , I remember Jack taking timeout to teach me how to throw the Discus, a track specialty of his at OSU. There are so many great stories, too many to tell here. Jack, you and Sally were special people in my Life. There will always be a fond place in my heart for all the Havens family.

Dear Havens, so so sorry to hear of your loss. I am deeply honored & blessed to have grown up with the Havens ! So many memories from Club Rd. to the Farm & onwards. What a very sad day for everyone! Jack and my dad were dear friends for many, many years. Jack and Sally were so good to my parents and Mom and Dad loved their company and their friendship! Sally and Jack raised a family who always helps others.i know my mom and dad were so happy to welcome him to Heaven. We have lost a very, very unique, loving, man of class. Havens family, my heart is with you. Jack, thank you for all you did for my family. We love you❤

I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to get to know Jack and work with him through Cardinal Health. He was a wonderful man who meant so much to so many. He made our world a better place. His loss weighs heavy on the hearts of all who's lives he's touched.
