John was my friend since 1938 when we went to kindergarten, and was an active member of the great Ypsilanti High School class of 1951! We will all miss him! To Mike, Jim and Scott and their families, your dad was a special guy and a special friend!

Jim, so sorry to hear of your dads passing. He was a great man.

My deepest,heartfelt condolences to the Hawker families. Your mother and he did a great job with all of you. I'm sure they both know that you will carry on the Hawker name proudly.

Prayers and sympathy to the Hawker family. Lots of memories from the South Wallace neighborhood and the Cooch, Sinkule, family. I remember the bowling days at Washtenaw Lanes. Helped me a lot in the Body Shop business. A good man.
