My name is Ellen Durham Christensen. I knew John from my freshman and sophomore years at Stanford. I remember him as a thoughtful man with a gentle soul. All my sympathy to you his family

My condolences to the Haygood Family. John was a long time friend and brother during our high school and college days. May PEACE AND LOVE be with the Haygood Family in their time of reflections......JD

John and I were friends from 7th grade on. We only saw each other twice after high school but our close knit group made any reunion like we had seen each other the day before. His loss leaves a void for me as if I had been in regular contact with him. All of my prayers and sympathy to family. I share in your grief.
