John Holliday Obituary

Published by Tampa Bay Times on Apr. 30, 2010.
HOLLIDAY, John N. of Seminole, FL. Joined his beloved daughter, "Hellie" and his wife on April 11, 2010. John was 86 and born in Allison, PA. He lived in Vermont from age 5 to 18 and enlisted in the Naval Aircorps. He worked for General Electric at The Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory from 1949 to 1957. John retired from G.E. in 1985 and moved to Independent Living at Freedom Square, Seminole, FL in 2002. John was a whiz on the computer, an excellent photographer and took hundreds of pictures of our campus, our residents and the social events that took place here at Freedom Square, despite his serious physical condition. John's reward was in seeing others enjoy themselves. John's passing has left a huge void in the lives of all who knew him, especially in the heart of "Elly" who was this constant companion for the past 8 years.
