Jack was that one person you could always go to to get that bit of data that you needed to assess a material thoroughly. Jack was a professional in all that he did. But, most of all, Jack was a true friend and gentleman. Jack was a significant member of our JSC Materials team. We will miss him.
My sincere condolences to Jack's family.

Jack was one of my earliest mentors as a Boy Scout. He helped me establish my interest in the outdoors, my taste in music, and my sense of self. He helped me to get my first job out of college with Hamilton Standard and that has led to a fulfilling career at NASA. A quiet and funny man of character. He will be missed.

Jack was the best mentor a person could have.

I would like to offer my condolences to the Huckestein Family and share some word of comfort because life can be so overwhelming at this time. The pain, the grief, and the feeling of hopelessness can be so unbearable. I pray that you can find comfort in family and friends but most of all thru Almighty God, whose ear and supplication is toward the distressed ones.

Jack was a pleasure to work with. He was the ultimate professional when it came to his work and yet he he could be extremely funny. Jack you will be missed. God Bless. Jim

My memories of Jack at Boeing Aerospace Operations were of his soft spoken voice, his kindness, and his quiet demeanor. My heartfelt sympathy to Jack's family and close friends during this time of grief.

I love hearing Jacks stories about his trips to Walmart on Saturday's. Rest in peace Jack.

Everyone loved Jack. He was always smiling. My desk was next to his in the Hamilton Standard days.

I attended the banquet with Jack when he won his "Snoopy" award, what a delightful guy!!

Jack was a great person to work with. I'd worked with Jack from 1986 until he left USA and he always enjoyed sharing stories and his knowledge of Materials. Sorry he has left us but know he is in God's hands.
