John was an amazing person. I enjoyed our constant conversations. He had a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed.

John will be missed greatly and remembered often.You have my very deepest sympathy for your loss.My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

John was a very special man. He connected with the youth in such a short time but left a lifetime impact. John always had a encouraging word and a smile to greet everyone he crossed daily. John will be deeply missed by his students, coworkers and friends.

For Our Dear HurleyFamily, We remember many fun times back in Huntington Woods with all of you wonderfull kids so many years ago. John was an adamant professional. He loved teaching and his students were blessed to have him as an instructor. His joy, humor, and kindness will be missed by us all. My condolences to John's family. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I only had the privilege of knowing John for a brief time. During this time, I knew him to be a kind, compassionate, funny guy who spread wisdom to everyone around him. I hope he has found peace in heaven and that God comforts the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

John was one of a kind. He was honest, passionate, caring, kind, generous, dedicated to his students, and full of life. May God have mercy on his soul and hold Ethan, and all John's family and friends, in the palm of His hands. Rest in peace my friend.
