Sally - Tee and I were sadden to learn of John's recent passing. Since we left ECC it's been hard to stay in the loop of the membership so forgive our delay. He was certainly a terrific guy and his love of history was always so enjoyable to engage in. We will always have fond memories of him during our times at the Club. With great sympathy, Tee and Michael Wall

To Sally, John and Rob, and Families
Michael and I are so sorry to learn of John's recent passing! From the sounds of it, he was quite the guy who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Sally: John was one of the nicest and most honorable people I have ever met. He was a real pleasure to work with during all our NEF field gatherings. I am sure you and your children will miss his kind support and love...God bless you and your family and may my good friend rest in eternal peace with Our Blessed Lord....Sincerely Bill Cummings

Truly one of the nicest and most gracious humans I have ever had the privilege to know. He was a gentleman and clearly a loving and devoted husband. He and Sally were indeed " a pair "

What a charismatic man was John Huss!

Always a glint in his eye, and a bit of sharp wit on his tongue, he would smile at you, a 1000 watt smile, and you knew he cared.

I will remember him for his Pomfret stories - after he learned my daughter was attending, he regaled me with stories. An easy going man, who was truly sincere.

He and Sally are, and always will be, great friends of my parents, Jim & Adeline. Their tennis and bridge stories will live on for generations. They laughed together sharing ice-cream with lots of humor sprinkled on top!

He will be sorely missed.

May he rest in eternal peace with God.
