I was fortunate to live in John's home as part of the Brother's House circa 1975. John and Viola gave us a wonderful glimpse into their family and home life. Those will be days I always cherish

We owe much to Brother John in the early years. As he put out the Word of God - our eyes were opened (i.e. his messages on life and building, the offerings, and much more).

My heart is broken having just learned of his passing into the light above. I have known him here and there for the last 20 years. A tremendous gift he was to the saints. The last time we talked was at a WCCC meeting and we walked around the college grounds outside. He was remembering a time from the past and one from the present. He said between the two he had passed through pain and renewal, but here is the secret of joining the two to bring understanding. They are like a coin where both sides are completely different and yet the value has never changed. Both our past and present things we pass through are the things that make us uniquely one in Christ. I will deeply miss you and Bill Freeman, a coin that I had great worth in. tearfully joyful until we meet again.
Brother John Shore, Ephrata, Washington.

For all the years I've known him, John has been loving, gracious, kind and full of the spirit. His ministry to the churches has, in my estimation, become richer and richer as the years progressed. Thank the Lord for this great man of God. John always encouraged me very much in the Lord for which I am very grateful. I can't wait to see him again.

Remember the family reunions in South Dakota. Remember seeing you in California when I stopped to visit and seeing Viola. Greatest memory
of your children Samuel and Margaret.

You have been a spiritual father to us. Your vision, love and consecration to God's purpose encourages us daily to keep pressing on to know the Lord. By the Lord's grace,we will remember your living in simplicity, humility and honesty to the Lord and to others.
What a loss to the Body of Christ; but as you will always say to us: "The Lord Knows."
The churches in Africa
November 1, 2016
We of the churches in Africa will ever be grateful to the Lord for the life of Brother John Ingalls. He was a man who knew God, a man so meek, loving and gentle. He was a man who knew how to spend time in the Lord's presence. His meek spirit was very much manifested when he put out the SPEAKING THE TRUTH IN LOVE. At the time many of us felt he should have been stronger but his answer was "This is the right way." Today whenever we read the we can taste his meek spirit remembering what he said we are assured that this man knew God. His passing inflicted very severe pain in our hearts because this is a big loss to the Body of Christ. We are sad but we must accept it because God has spoken and called a faithful servant home. His many years of regular visit to Africa and the riches he released will always be remembered. When we heard that he fell down and needed surgery we prayed fervently and pleaded with the Lord to give him more years. God heard our prayers and answered us in the most appropriate way displaying His wisdom and sovereignty. Our beloved brother fought a good fight and faithfully finished his course. He is definitely in the bosom of Abraham and we will see him again.
