Jason & Brian,
Condolences on your Dad's passing. I will always remember him for his dedication to family, his sense of humor and his service to our country, which he was so proud of. I'm sure he is catching up with my dad and grandma. May he rest in peace.

John Jauch was my late husband Walter's brother. We all kind of grew up together since my husband and I were teenage sweethearts. John remained my friend even after my husband passed. We both were involved in veterans groups he being a purple heart wounded veteran and member of VFW and me President of the Polish American Vets to support my Dad's service during WW2. John spent six months in hospital in the states after stepping on a booby trap in Viet Nam almost dying and nearly losing a leg. He was a kid when drafted but became a soldier in the Army. His Army gear is donated to the Cape May,NJ Vietnam Vet Museum. You were a good friend John and will be missed. Love you, Joanie Jauch

Uncle John I have very fond memories of you .i remember when you visited us in Scotland many years ago and my favourite memory of you is when you told me I can do anything I wanted,I laughed and said I can't climb that big pole and he said yes you can !!he put my hands round the pole and lifted me up and held me shouting we done it we done it told you we could do it laughing ,,,when I think about it now his arms must have been killing him as he held me for ages knowing that I was happy ..
Then recently when he was ill he called me and we had a lovely chat .I loved you uncle John ,my mum and dad thought the world of you .

Dad,
It's only been days since I last saw you. I want to pick up the phone and call just to say I love you. You have given me a lifetime of love, and I know you know how much I love you but you don't know how much I miss you. We talked about everything and you always had a way of making me feel like everything was going to be ok. It's not, you are not here. I am supposed to pick up your stuff at the VA and I can't I just cant go. The VFW is going to have a service in your honor. don't have dates yet but working on it with the Post. I love you Dad, keep your eyes on me. I wrote a story about your journey to heaven, you boarding a train telling me not to worry and what its like when you arrive. It's a little corny but I'm not a writer. Be at peace dad, drive your cars, visit with grandma, and have all the seafood you want. Just please don't forget about me.
