Still miss you John Boy, we had a lot of fun working at Amtrak.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. Dan just told me. My deepest sympathy to Penny and Bethy and All the Family.

Penny and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Have know Johnnie since 1962, always had fun at the Johnson home. Many memories!!!! Will miss seeing him St. Patty's day at Ogara's. May you rest in peace.

Rest in peace, dear neighbor! You never knew, but sometimes the chats from the porch could mean the first smile after a long day at work. Your "Hey, Neighbor!" was always such a welcomed sound!

R.I.P. John. Will miss seeing you walking the streets of Beech Grove. Condolences to the family.

Thoughts and prayers to all who knew and loved John. He was a unique individual, it has been many years, but we shared much laughter and good times. What fun we had training for the Mini Marathon,the Mystery Train, New Years parties, and family memories. Your death is a loss to many, RIP John Boy. Ted and Sue

We have had the privilege of living across the street from John for over 20 years and it was a privilege to know him. He was always friendly and caring and never shy with a "hi there neighbor!". He was beloved by the neighborhood kids for passing out suckers and playing Halloween pranks. He will be very missed.

Condolences to the family. I haven't seen or talked to John in many, many years, but he was a good friend many years ago. Really good guy!

Sending thoughts and prayers to Penny and all the Johnson family. Going to miss seeing him on his daily walk. I am sure he has already found a new path to walk in Heaven.

So so sorry to hear of John's passing. I will miss seeing him on his daily exercise route. We shared many stories about Beech Grove whenever our paths met. He was always a gentleman. R.I.P. John.

John Boy, a person should only be judged by his or her peers Among the many survivors of the class of 68 and your many friends at Amtrak , i doubt all but a questionable few called you friend. To the great times we shared from grade school to the end. I was better for knowing you. God's speed my friend, Rick and Juli Chappell p.s. i am going to use that minnow bucket one more time in your honor.

I am so sorry for your loss. He and I had many good times while working at Amtrak -- we was on the United Way team - and went to many places and enjoyed them together. He will be missed in many of our lives.
