Reverend Father John: Again, it is a n extreme honor to sign your guest book. You have always been a wonderful role model for me at Holy Angels in San Diego, CA. On top of that, you have always been a most Holy Priest and friend to me. May God grant you Eternal Memory and Eternal Rest with your wonderful and Blessed Family. We just recently heard about Fr. John's passing....so sad. He was a good friend of our family for more than 45 years. He baptized each of our four children and we remained friends all these years! We had dinner together just weeks before he died...he was feeling fine and in great spirits. Now he can enjoy the face of God forever! RIP dear friend.

I was in Ss. Cyril & Methodius Seminary with John ( "Chico" ) for three years. He came to my home for Thanksgiving our first year, because there was not enough time for him to get home and back from California. He was an exceptional person, even in his seminary days!
Eternal Memory and Peaceful Repose, Father John!

As former members of St. Stephens Church in Euclid, Ohio we are saddened to have learned of the passing of Rev. Archpriest John Kachuba. We were blessed to have had Fr. John as our pastor for 24 years. Our deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to hear of Father John's passing. He and I were second cousins and it was only a month or so ago that had spoken with him on the phone. Every time I visited Father John, we talked about the book he wanted me to help him write (I am a writer). We will never get that chance. I will miss his warmth and sense of humor.

You are in our hearts forever, beloved Father.

Fr. Kachuba was one of the first members of our Eastern Churches Seminar, which is now in its 38th year at Notre Dame College. I remember his hosting one of our ECS presentations at St. Stephen Church in Euclid and being impressed by his gentle, friendly spirit.

May Fr. John rest in God's loving embrace for all eternity and continue to pray for all whose lives he touched.

Well done, Good and Faithful Servant of God! Thank you for everything you did for us! You will be very missed!

No words can properly express our sadness on Fr. John's passing. He was a joy to be around and was the best story teller. His presence will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him. God Bless.

It is with great sorrow and sadness we received the news of Fr. John's passing. He has been a friend of ours for over 50 years. He was a friend who cared about us and many others, not only with words but also his actions. May his memory be eternal!
