John B. Kempfer

I met John in 1977 at MSM Consultants and I later became a consultant for Mobil Land and spent many hours with John. In addition to hearing his many stories, he also made me a better engineer, as he did for many others. When talking on the phone, he would weave the phone cord with his fingers - you could always tell John's office by the mangled phone cord! When he couldn't smoke in the office, he would chew rubber bands. I greatly enjoyed my time with him and he will be missed.
