John Kittler Obituary

KITTLER-John, of the Balcarres Extended Care Home and formerly of Lemberg, beloved husband of Teresia Kittler, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2006 at the age of 89 years. John was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Franciska Kittler; two brothers, Adam and Anton; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth and a daughter in infancy. He is survived by: his wife of almost 68 years, Teresia of Balcarres; a daughter, Ann (Peter) Lukacs of Regina Beach; a son, John (Pat) Kittler of Vancouver; his grandchildren, Terri (Jim) Carlson of Regina, Jeff and Greg Kittler of Vancouver and James (Sherri) Lukacs of Winnipeg; four greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Teresa Khantak of Saskatoon and Francis Muller of Prince Albert; a sister-in-law, Martha Kittler of Lemberg and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lemberg. Interment will follow in the Lemberg Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home, Melville.

He was my great grandpa, and I just want to thank anyone who came to the funeral or who came over and talked to my Granny after the funeral. I know everyone will miss him as much as I do. I love you Grandpa.
