My condolences to Sue and the entire Kozak family. John and I worked together beginning at Deloitte when he first graduated from college and later when he was the CFO at Mutual Federal in Zanesville, Ohio. I was always impressed by his intellect, good humor and the kindness he showed to everyone he met. Please know that you will remain in my thoughts.

John was my boss at Park National. He was a very caring, kind, and awesome boss. I remember one time I asked to leave early and he asked why. I said it was my birthday. John pulled a bill from his wallet and said 'Happy Birthday. See you tomorrow.' After John retired, he and Sue would send a Christmas card every year. I'll never forget his generosity and kindness. It was a great pleasure to have known and worked with him. You will be missed, John.

To the Kozak and Eppley Families sorry to read of your loss.Your families are in our prayers. Muskingum and Licking Counties lost a good man. Rosecrans lost a basketball legend who played with class, compassion,a cool competitiveness, composure, and great skills. John truly deserved to be in Rosecrans first hall of fame class. The skills listed above John continued to use throughout his life with his Faith, Family, Friends, and Community Service. In Heaven John will continue to use them.
