I just found out about John's death an hour ago. I am shocked and saddened. John and I grew up together and were in the same class at Minersville High School. We played baseball together, and enjoyed seeing each other at our class reunions. I pray God's grace on Gerri and the rest of the family.

Offering our condolences to the Kozura family from the Wilkes and Landry family. Dr Kozura treated most of my family for years and we are grateful for his service and helping us to stay healthy and well. My Mom saw Dr Kozura until her late 80´s.

I met "Doctor John" in 1991. He became a member of one of my earliest "medical teams" in 1992. Although our interests were very different and he moved around far too fast to "hang-out," we were friends.
During one of my very first office visits, he said, "Look, we can perform a bunch of expensive, lengthy, sometimes painful tests to find out exactly what it is... or I can save you the time, agony and money and go ahead and give you the same treatment I would in the end, anyway."
Distance soon separated or friendship and his medical advice, but he taught me some very important facts/philosophies that have served me well for decades.
Godspeed, Doc!

Many called this wonderful man Dr. John Kozura, but we called him friend and Doc. He was one of a kind. He always had the best medical advice and let us all know how much he cared for us. We have great memories of him that we will cherish for many years to come. We send our love to those he leaves behind. Doc will truly be missed by everyone that knew him. With heartfelt sympathy and prayers, Walter and Norma Jean Sweatman Brazeal & family
