No Christmas card from you this year and I know your family struggles without you around. It is the fact I miss your card (not to mention our calls and the occasional get together) that you are still with me in spirit and love. I pray that the kids will find some joy in remembering special
Christmas times you shared with them that made you so special in so many ways. I think it was Christmas time 1996 and I was on detail in El Cajon when you took me to a Christmas party at your cousins (?) and even brought a secret Santa gift for me. I was alone at the time, but you made it special for me and inspired me to fly and visit my kids at the last minute. Thank you and Merry Christmas, I miss you, but know you are always close by in spirit.

John was a very caring man and I knew him as my father's Border Patrol partner in the 70s and then after dad's retirement, John kept in touch with my father, James Brantly until his death in 2007. John arranged for my father's BP Honor Guard and then kept in touch with my mother and our family to keep us updated on other members of the Border Patrol Family. My mother passed away in May and John helped spread the news of her passing. He will be greatly missed as the connective tissue among many from the Temecula station. Sincere condolences to all of his family.

My condolences to John's family. Where to start. I've known John since the early 1980s while we were shooting "together". I say "together" because even though we were on different agencies we were, first and foremost friends. Just being around John was a hoot, a truly great guy. I was truly saddened to hear of his passing

To many of us, John was our very first supervisor. He was a lovable man with a tremendous heart who was also a tremendous leader. John cared deeply about each one of his troops and took very seriously the responsibility of being a supervisor.
We take great pride in calling him our mentor, since our admiration for him has been with us since we were young agents. John was a wealth of knowledge who had the ability to be heard by everyone while still earning your respect and loyalty.
The Patrol has lost a beloved brother but it is with great pleasure to know John is in a beautiful resting place where he will continue to be a wonderful example of a man.
Wishing you a well-deserved break, Sir. Godspeed ...

The Polomsky family was very sad to hear of your father's passing. We have great memories of him when all of you lived in Connecticut. He was a special man and has obviously had a distinguished career. May he Sleep in Peace and Thank you for the great memories.

John was not only a colleague but a best friend for so many years. My family sends our sincerest condolences to the Krupa family. We will miss him greatly, especially his loud voice and jovial manner as he gave a ribbing to whoever was around.
