To Suzanne, Martha and all of John's family: I share in your grief at the loss of a great man as well as a great friend & coworker. Getting to work with John over much of the last six years after a decade long friendship has blessed me with memories that I will cherish forever. Until we meet again my friend "Go Navy, beat Army"

There are no words that can adequately express the profound sense of loss we feel when thinking that we'll never get to see John's smile, hear his laughter, or be in his presence. We will all miss him greatly. He was an excellent friend.
