dear uncle johnny,
Spending the last weeks together has ment to much to me. One of the most memorable times that I will never forget was two sundays ago when you and I were sittting in your room and you said that you loved me and that I was more than just your god son that you thought of me as the son you never had. This ment more to me than anything you ever gave me in my life. I will never forget that moment. I hope you are in heaven now having a cup of coffee with my mother and father like you use to do when I was a little kid. I just want to know how much I loved you and I am sorry that I wasn't able to forfill you last wish.
I will miss you very much and I love you alot

My children and I want to express our sincere sympathy for the John Lambros family. We were tenants of his during a time when my youngest was seriously ill. He was always a kind and gentle person and we remember him fondly.

As a younger fellow Greek, my sympathy. It is due to the the unselfishness of Americans such as Mr. Lambros that we all enjoy the freedoms of this country. Bless you all.
