A lot of us owe years of pleasure from what Mike and John provided at Lundyville through the variety of social activities. Sandy and I have been there weekly for karaoke and other venues since 2013. Over the years we have gone through good, bad, and tense times. We got to know John well.
We learned Mike made a good choice. With rare departure, John used a fair hand and diplomacy mixed with a quick wit. He was simply a good person to know and a friend you could appreciate. Sandy and I will miss him dearly. I'm sure all that knew him share the sentiment.

Mike,
You two made a great life together, living the dream. So sorry. I lost touch with John at about 20, but my memories are filled with the times we had. It always brings a smile to my face.
Bobby, Kathy and Paul thank you for being part of those memories. Life is too short. Again sorry to all.

I have been a regular singer and dancer at LMH for over 10 years until I stopped driving due to age and my children's urging. John is a dear friend and extended family member to me and LMH is like my second home. I have always been an admirer of John for his love, decency, thoughtfulness, kindness, generosity and honesty. and the awesome way that he handled his devastating health issues with dignity and calm, without complaint. John gave his all and then some to his family, friends and to all who visited LMH. John's bear hugs at the end of a beautiful night of fun and enjoyment while singing and dancing, brought warmth to my heart and Soul. Rest in peace my dear friend John in that Mansion that Jesus promised His Disciples at the Last Supper when He said to them, "In my Father's House there are many Mansions and I now go to prepare a place for you so that where I am, you also will be". Love you and God Bless until we meet again.

John was one of the most amazing, caring men I've ever had the pleasure to know. Many times I've sat with John and just talk about "life"....good and bad. One thing is certain, John loved Mike with ALL his heart and soul. His biggest concern was the well being of his husband...his life soulmate!
John was my "brother". Love you, always. Until we meet again...
