John William Larkin

Larkin, John William - It is with deep sadness we announce the passing away of John on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Grace Villa Nursing Home at the age of 81. John was a sweet and kind-hearted family man who will be forever cherished by his wife of 61 years, Lillian "Sharon", and by his children John (Tammy), Darcy, and Sherri. He was the proudest Papa to William, Nolan (Chrissy), Matthew, and Kansas and great Papa to William, Hailey, and Carter. John will continue to live on in the hearts of his sister Linda Bailey, his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He now joins in heaven his parents Max & Eileen, brother Rob, and Sister Mary.

John was a long-time employee of Dofasco, retiring after 33 years of service. He made many memories hunting and fishing, working on his classic cars and attending local car shows and could often be seen showing his affection to you by "flipping you the bird". He was a quiet man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Grace Villa Nursing home and family friend Tracy Kerr for their ongoing care and support throughout the last few years.
