John Lesley was a unique human, remembered for so many crucial roles in the fabric of Princeton´s life as a town during the 70s and for decades thereafter. Most important to me was his position as the chairman of the board of Youth Speaks Up, Inc., a weekly radio program initially founded by Frank Clark in the 1960s sponsored by the YMCA and broadcast by Princeton´s WHWH-AM before switching to WPST-FM in the 70s, and for which he served as a host/facilitator of this national award-winning topical interview program by high-school students in NJ and PA, and for which I served as Producer for thirty years. John´s guidance, steady direction, and humor played a key part of the program´s success, and his wealth of knowledge gave an always ready reference to the program´s wide variety of significant topics featuring the opinions of youth of the day. For that and the many of my own questions about life which he could be called on to answer, John Lasley will be forever engraved in my memory. May he rest in peace... John C. Baker
