A remarkable man with a great, commanding voice which was fitted for the screen. First saw John in Death Rides A Horse - one of the best westerns ever. I trust that John is resting in peace and that his legacy, his memories will never fade away. Best wishes to John's entire family, friends and associates. Jesus loves, saves and loves and cares for you all!

The first time I saw John was at a restaurant
in China Town in LA. I was having dinner with his brother, Tom. John bombed through the door, up to the table and took my breath away. He was unreal in his beauty. He was very excited as he had just heard about The Russians Are Coming. Sweet man. Gone too soon.

I am so sorry to hear this. He died much too young. I remember him and Andrea Dromm on The Russians Are Coming & thought in real life they would have had gorgeous children. Today I saw "Death Rides A Horse" for the first time & flashed back on him. My sincere condolences to family, friends and colleagues.

I just found out today that John Phillip Law had passed away, after seeing him mentioned in a tribute to those who died this year on TCM. I'd like to offer my deepest sympathy to his family, some of whom I had the pleasure of knowing when I was in high school.
I was best friends with his niece, Robin Clark for a short time, and still think of her often. Robin, if you see this, I still live in the same place, and just lost MY mom. I'd love to hear from you. All the best to you and your family.
Sincerely,
Chris Crowley

Today, July 29, 2008, I just learned of John Phillip Law's passing. John was a school buddy at Hollywood High and Cal Poly. A great friend and with great memories, I lost track of John after he left college. But he'll always be remembered for who he was. God be with you always dear friend.

when I was just a lad I saw TRAC,TRAC and was impressed by John Phillip Law, he was the most memorable one of the entire cast for me. I continued to seek out his performances throughout his life and am sorry to hear of his passing.

When Mr. Law portrayed an angel in Barbarella I thought he was truly the most angelic and beautiful person I had ever seen. One always thinks as good as being beautiful and pure, he had the perfect looks for that role. He leaves behind many roles taken on in his career for us all to enjoy, so really a part of him lives on. Condolences to his family and personal friends. RIP

Mr. Law was a talented and beautiful man. He did not have to act. His facial expressions spoke volumes. His eyes truly seemed to be the windows to his soul. I shall miss him, shall continue to enjoy the body of work which he left me, and hope to see him again. Can we dare to imagine how handsome John Phillip Law will look in a glorified body?

Father we entrust our brother John to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
May God hold John in the palm of His hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My deepest sympathies.

Many people may not know that the movie, "The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming" was actually filmed in Mendocino and Fort Bragg, California in Mendocino County. Was a favorite film of mine. I used to live in Fort Bragg, CA where I attended 8th - 11th grades in school. May John rest in peace. And may his family be comforted in your loss of such a great actor and person.
