While I had not seen The Lev since our graduation from Andover in June of 1962, the memory of this larger than life man is no less vivid. My heart goes out to all of his friends and family who enjoyed the luxury of his presence through the years.

Dear Levin Family--The survivors of the Andover Class of 1962 were saddened yesterday when word of John's passing swept our computers. Please accept our very sincere condolences. John was a brilliant and unique student and stood out as such in a group of highly-talented young men. He did things his own way such as the way he brought his pet boa constrictor and hid it in his form room. The escape of the snake was memorable. John was allowed to keep the poor serpent in the science builkding. He gebuibely worried that the boa would get lonely. He faiithfully went every to feed and play with his bet. John affected all of us and we mourn his loss, but we will keep him in our memory.

Dear Anne-Marie, Alicia and Joanna,
My heart goes out to you on the death of John. My best memories of him are from the kids were young and it seemed that we were at your house on an almost daily basis. His family always meant so much to him. May the love of your friends and family help you through this difficult time. Pat
