My favorite memory of John is him dancing and singing in the kitchen at whistler in the morning. He was always cheerful while making breakfast (his were the only scrambled eggs I liked) before a day of skiing. And then tea and cookies in the afternoon. Only two cookies most times, but occasionally an extra cookie after a hard day. A lovely, knowledgable man.
