Just wanted to search for an old friend Linda, and came upon Dr.John for he was destined to become ! Of course his mom mom and mother had some influence. Happy his life and hopefully Linda´s life as well we´re all they may have wished . My life was very different early on but turned out very happily. Would love to hear from a successful Linda as a little song popped into my head that we sang as preschool pals! (Can you believe it) Linda L Hennessey. Tellico Village Loudon Tn.

Dr. Lockhart was an amazing doctor and his love, compassion and tenderness with his patients were immeasurable. He was my mother's doctor and he delivered both my daughter and my son and he delivered my daughter's two boys. You could say he was definitely a doctor of generations. He was a doctor you didn't mind waiting hours for because you knew how well he would take care of you and give you all the time that you needed. I hated to see him retire and so did my daughter as she had one more baby after Dr. Lockhart retired and she very much noticed the difference in her visits and delivery. I am broken to hear this but also glad that he is no longer suffering. I am truly sorry for your loss and pray for blessings to be showered upon you and your family as we his patients received from him. Other than my self in the middle, Dr. Lockhart delivered my two kids on either side of me and both my grandbabies.

Dr. Lockhart was my gyn doctor for 28 years until he retired in 2012. I also new him as a fellow Riverside employee. He took very good care of me and all of his patients. He was sincerely interested in you as an individual, and always took his time with you during office appointments. Dr. Lockhart was a very caring, dedicated physician. I hope that knowing how much his patients loved him brings you comfort in the future. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dr Lockhart delivered all three of my children in the 80´s. I observed him with other patients in the ER and decided no one else would do for my pregnancies. As an ER RN I respected him and trusted his judgement, which says a great deal about his character, knowledge and finesse. My husband was always impressed by his caring attitude and professionalism in the high emotion interactions of L&D.

I am so sorry for your loss. Dr Lockhart delivered all three of my children. He had such a gentle, kind heart. He really was a one of a kind doctor. I had a miscarriage in his office once and sat with me and just wiped my tears away. I´m sure he had lots of other patients that day, but he just sat with me as if time didn´t matter. He was one of the most caring doctors I have ever had.

I am profoundly sad to hear of the passing of this kind & wonderful man.
Dr. Lockhart delivered my last (of 3 children), but not only that, he really came through for me re: a grievous medical issue six years later...
Decades after that,
I knew he was the one I needed to care for me when, again, I suffered a medical situation which, had he not intervened, likely would have taken my life...
May he truly Rest In Peace.
I pray comfort for his family in their grief & mourning; may God hold them in the palm of His hand until that coming great day, when He will wipe away all tears from our eyes.

Words are so inadequate at times like this. John left an imprint of Joy. His life exemplified so many talents and he did them well yet all the while staying grounded. As family from a distance I press forward with sweet memories going back to a Panama trip thru SC b4 u 2 had children. John was the example that sometimes God gives extra talents. His personality and music was enjoyed by family early on to include at my home both piano and guitar. I'm so glad he was a part of my family. Thank you Jan. The perfect matched couple. Janet, may you find solace in your precious memories of a lifetime. Hugs to you and all the family.
