sending our condolence to Mr Longfield´s Family and friends.Although we never met but knowing Joe and Myra and how close and loving the family is we know it´s a great loss for everyone. Love lives forever and memories are such great gifts left behind.

We enjoyed getting to know John over the last decade, being invited by Myra & Joe to many lovely Longfield family celebrations next door. It is wonderful to hear about so many facets of John through the obituary. Our thoughts & love are with Robin (who we adore!) & his entire family.

John was a trusted friend that added such insight, humor and valuable guidance as we navigate thru life. I deeply miss his playful sarcasm which would follow each of my posts. .....gone farrrr too soon .

Going to "school" with John at Osher these past few years has been a delight. He could always be counted on for a cogent, wise and often wry analysis or comment. We will sorely miss his humor, warmth and wisdom and grieve his loss.

We send our condolences to the family. In the years we got to know John he was so kind and helpful he loved chatting and getting to know us his neighbors, especially our children. He was always willing to share knowledge and lend a helping hand. He would go out his way to make sure he could help in any way he could. I will truly miss our little chats and just his simple kindness of wave or smile. We adored him and will truly miss him he will forever remain in hearts and memories. The Togual family

What a lovely obituary! I learned so much about John that I didn´t know. My favorite curmudgeonly thing about John was how he turned off his hearing aid when he was getting annoyed by our incessant talking. We love John!
