John Lucas Obituary
JOHN HAROLD "JACK"
John Harold Lucas Jr. "Jack" age 80, died Monday, February 21, 2005. He was born February 16, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late Christine Miller and John Harold Lucas. His beloved brother, David Miller Lucas, preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Eleanor Leslie Lucas; three nephews, David, John, Paul Lucas and his niece, Leslie Lucas Schramer and their families. He resided at Devereux-Dando Villa, in West Chester, PA most of his life. A gentle soul, he loved to laugh, go to movies, enjoy a good meal and participating in the Special Olympics. He was a friend to his caregivers and will be lovingly remembered by all. A memorial service will be held at the Grove United Methodist Church, located on 490 West Boot Road, West Chester, PA on Friday, March 4, 2005 at 2:00pm. The family requests contributions in Jack's memory be made to the Devereux Foundation c/o Devereux-Whitlock Center, 139 Leopard Rd, Berwyn, PA 19312.
