I knew John in the fun 60's and early 70's and then we went different ways. He was always fun to be around and was so intense about things he cared about.

John was not only a great neighbor but he was a personal great friend! John was the kind of person that would give you the shirt he was wearing if you needed it. I know that sounds cliché but totally true! John was an amazing person and I am so happy that I was able to be friends with him even if only for seven years. I will truly miss him just like all his other friends and family will I assure you!! John Lumpkin I pray that you are sitting at the right hand of the Lord right now my friend and John you know we talked about that a lot....so I really believe you are..

You will always be in my heart.

The world has lost such a good, generous, caring man and heaven has gained a beautiful soul. I will miss John so much. Our friendship was always comfortable. We'd pop in and out of each other's lives through the decades. I'm so thankful we were in close contact these last few years especially. John brought so much to my life always.

My brother Dave and I knew John from the old neighborhood on Thunderbird in the late 60's and very early 70's. He was a fun friend to hang out with and a very gentle man. May he rest in peace and hopefully run into Dave up in heaven so they can continue their frindship through eternity.

So, so sorry for your loss. May Johns Memory be eternal. I will truly miss our chats, when he would come over to work on my fathers and my homes.

I'm so sorry for your tragic loss. May you gain comfort through prayer (Psalm 102:1) as you pour out your heart to God.
