John Lyman Obituary
Lansing - Age 79 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He was born September 30, 1941, in Springfield, IL the son of the late Larry and Helen (McHugh) Lyman. He is a US Marine Veteran serving 1958-62 with a medal for good conduct. Surviving are the mother of his children Doreen Lyman, sons, John (Carol) Lyman, Josh (Justina) Lyman; daughters, Christine (Tim) Yorty, JoHanna Richardson, Mallory Lyman; sisters, Lynn Chapman, late Judy (Don) Liles; brother late Robert (Sue) Lyman; grandchildren Kyle (Savannah) Woods, Bryan (Carole) Lyman, Chelsy (Adam) Boelkins, Presley Richardson, Lily Richardson, Zoelle Samano, Joshua Jr. Lyman, Jillian Lyman and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews. John will be lovingly remembered as a US patriot-lifetime VFW member, a great friend, with ocean blue eyes a great smile and one who lived life on his own terms. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2 pm at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, with military honors VFW #701 following. The family will greet friends from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. The service will be livestreamed on the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Facebook page for those that cannot attend.
