John Lynchuk

JOHN LYNCHUK March 20th, 1923 June 19th, 2006 John Lynchuk passed away peacefully with family at his side at Sherbrooke Community Centre at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Anne (Zook); his children, Arlene (Bob) Klassen; Audrey Lynchuk; Garry (Claudine) Lynchuk; grandchildren, Kimberley Lynchuk; Robin (Joel) Kitchen; Joelle Lynchuk (Chris Reaume); great granddaughter, Makenna Kitchen; sister, Mary Pidskalny; and brother, Mike (Eileen) Lynchuk. John was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Anna (nee Mateychuk); sister, Sophie Karlowich; brother, Peter Lynchuk; brothers-in-law, Eugene Karlowich and Steve Pidskalny. The family wishes to thank Drs. Wong and Chau and especially the staff at Sherbrooke Community Centre for the exceptional care provided to our husband, dad "Gido " for the past 13 years. Prayers will be held Thursday, June 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, June 23rd, at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be held at St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (10th Street East and Munroe Ave.) with Rev. Father Peter Pidskalny CSsR and Rev. Father Larry Kondra CSsR as the celebrants. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
