Scotty ( Bud & Haatah ) MacDonald
May 18, 2012
John N. MacDonald....he was my father & my best friend...he was loved by most & mis-understood by the others. If you knew him , he gave you a nickname....maybe nice , maybe not....but he thought it fit you....mine was Bud ( for buddy ) & Haatah....( not sure where that came from..but he'd say it when I was mad when I was young & it used to make me laugh ).
Honest & truthfull...almost too much. You told me more than once honest people have no friends...cuz your friends dont really want to hear the truth.
You told me you loved me 1 time & explained that fathers didnt say " I love you" to their sons..thats what mothers did... & I that I knew you loved me..but everything you did showed the love you had for all of us...
It is not a goodbye but yet that you have beat me to the next level of eternity....see you then, Dad & say hi to Mom for me....

Very sorry for your family's loss. I only knew John for a short while but his sense of humor was one of a kind. He was a wonderful man. There was no doubt how much he loved his family. Thoughts and prayers with you all.
