From Sacred Heart High School where I met John. We graduated in 1963 and many laughs during my sophomore. Hugs and prayers to John's family. May John rest in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Phyllis (DiBiasso) Prizio

Kimberly Clare, I loved reading about your father! I met him through you, I guess, since it seems you shared his zest for life, love of writing, and even his smile. Thank you for sharing him with me through this post. Much love to you, my friend!

Dear Elsie (and family): I am so sorry to hear of John's death. He was always so kind and complimentary to me. I LOVE that he loved the music as much as I do. I have to admit I didn't know what to think the first time I saw him at a SFSF concert "dancing in the aisles." However, Alasdair explained John's feelings about the joy of music and dance and the human race. I understood then, and even moreso after he began to correspond with me. I loved getting those messages. I am relieved that he is not in pain anymore but still with us in spirit. I am happy to have known him. Love to you all. Barbara MacDonald Magone

Hi Elsie and family. Very sorry to hear of John´s passing. What a full life he lived. To see someone have so much enthusiasm and love of music each time he visited Cape Breton was amazing. I imagine he is enjoying the heavenly cèilidh and dancing to his heart´s content. Very sorry for your loss, take care. Shelly C

Very sorry to hear of John´s passing. May he Rest In Peace. One of my first memories of him was his spontaneous breakout into dance at the CMIC in Judique Nova Scotia to fiddle music and I would say he quite loved it.
