To the family of John Malone:
I have been a city employee for over 10 years and each time I needed help with a refuse problem, John was the "go to guy". I enjoyed talking to him and he always reminded me who lived in my house before I did and where a drugstore was located on Penn Ave.
John, you and your fish stories will always be remembered. Thanks friend for the memories. I will miss you buddy.
Your friend..

I'am an electrician with the City of Pittsburgh, Dept. of General Services.Any time we had to work at the Refuse Dept. John was our contact person. He would know exactly what the problem was which we were there for, and the complete history of who worked on the item before we did. John was always in a good mood. I think he though the was the second supervisor. He was always ready to tell a"fish"story. John, Thanks for the memories.
