John Mariani Obituary
Age 84, of Scott Twp., on Wed. Feb. 4, 2009. Beloved husband of 53 years of Dorothy (Sevick); loving father of Mary Jo and her husband Phil Bondi; devoted brother of G. Edmond Mariani; son of the late Giusto and Stella (Gambogi) Mariani; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. John was a founding member of SS Simon and Jude Church where he was an usher and past council and diocesan president of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was a WWII Veteran and he retired from US Steel American Bridge Div., Kopp Glass and Giant Eagle. Friends welcome Fri. 2-4 and 7-9pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Sat. 11:30 in SS Simon and Jude Church. Memorial contributions may be donated to SS Simon and Jude Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Dearest Mary Jo and family,
Please know even though we are not there with you in person, we are beside you in spirit. Our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. Our hearts go out to you on this saddest occasion and you are in our prayers. He is now reunited with the Father and will enjoy eternal life with Him.
