Dearest Becky i just wanted to express my heartfelt sadness at the loss of you wonderful husband. I'll always remember when we first met and how he welcomed me into your household and how he enjoyed talking about everything and his jovial manner. I enjoyed going to the ocean with him and having a few drinks while we conversed, he really seemed to like it down there and its again one of the things i'll remeber. we'll all miss him dearly but whenever i see you, i'll see him and remember that its not how long you know a person its how they act that makes you like them and John was a class act in my book, i will think of him and think fondly when i do, in my thoughts, and may god take care of him now. To my sister and my nephew,
I cannot tell you how very very sorry I am that Becky your husband has passed and dear Nicholas lost his father.
My brother in law has touched the heart of many. His life was short on earth but his memory will live on forever.
I love you so very much and will always be there for you.
Your Sister - Bobbie
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

Dear Becky and Nicholas,
How saddened we were to learn of John's passing and our deepest sympathy go out to you and your family. We shared many special times in the past and frequently, while looking through old photo albums, we discuss our cherished times together playing cards, our trip to Morraine, our many dinners at each other's homes. We may have drifted apart over the years, but you have always remained in our hearts and prayers. John was a good man, a good husband, a good father and a good friend. Please know that we are there for you, and you will continue to be in our prayers. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

My husband Dave and myself last saw John a few years back during a layover at the Miami airport. John spent the afternoon with us and showed us Miami. Dave worked security with John years ago at the Steel Building. We kept close through e-mails and phone calls. He was a wonderful friend and we will miss him. He will forever be in our hearts and our thoughts.

John was a very good friend from High School of my ex husband Ray Colella and I remember him as being so nice, kind and gentle. I am very sad to hear of his passing.
