I was shocked to hear about John. I always enjoyed any time I got to spend with him. We met through my parents, Don and Marion, when you hosted at the state park. We always got around to discussing Amateur radio. John will be missed and you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

John was one of the first people I met when I came to work at Claytor Lake in 2003. He became a close friend over the next seven years. Thanks for being a good friend and always being willing to help out. John was a good man and will be missed greatly. Georgia, we love you!
