Dear Maza Family,

I am a consulting forester that had the pleasure to work on occasion with John for many years. He was always there if called upon and I valued his opinion. The last time we actually worked together was on a timber harvest at the Merli Sarnoski Park project that was quite controversial. He hung in there with me and we represented good forestry together. We always picked up where we left off at SAF meetings and other trainings. I am sad to hear of his passing and please contact me if I can be of any help.

I went to high school with John and we were good friends and did a lot of fishing. I grew up in Dickson also. I am totally shocked and deeply saddened by his passing. John was truly a great person and I am sure he was a great husband and father.

I knew Johnny from work at DCNR Forestry. He was a good colleague who was always willing to help. He had a great sense of humor and loved to hunt and fish. I am sorry for the loss to the family with Johnny’s passing. I’m sure he will truly be missed. My hope is that the fond memories of him will comfort you.
