John V. Mazurek Jr.

John V. Mazurek, Jr., age 65, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late John V. and Helen (Cichon) Mazurek. Mr. Mazurek was employed as a produce manager at Food Mart, Hi-Lo and Seabra Supermarkets for over 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, an avid Patriots fan and he enjoyed trips to the casinos. He is survived by his loving companion, Elaine Marcucci of Fall River; his brother, Louis Mazurek & wife Cheryl of Fall River; his sister, Mary Ann Portley & husband Sean of Barrington, RI; two beloved nieces, Katie Whitman and Julia Mazurek; and his cousin, Leon Cichon & wife Cecilia. Mr. Mazurek's funeral will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 9:00AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Stanislaus Parish, 36 Rockland Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
