I was told that there would be some kind of memorial for John. Has it already happened? If not, is it planned or will it be planned? Thanks for answering.... Andy Graham 415.490.7349

Ken and I have such fond memories of John. He was always charming, always a gentleman, always a joy to be around and most importantly: he loved the Lord. He was a joy to spend time with, made our gatherings at Teresa´s that much more enjoyable and was always kind to our young son as he grew up hanging out with all of our crazy choir friends...you are missed John and we look forward to singing with you again someday in Heaven´s Master Choral!

Nancy and I attended junior high and high school with our good friend John and were able to see his children grow up in Memphis. I played football with John and loved being with him in high school choir. His father passed way to young and his Mom did a great job raising the kids. He was a good athlete, smart, kind, and fun to be with. He will be missed but not forgotten. We look forward to seeing him again.

My heart goes out to John's family and friends. John was highly respected and love by us as he participated in our Worship Choir at church where we served God together. We saw his talent, enjoyed his humor and always stood a little taller when John was there. As the Choir Director - he always added to my life is many ways and I am 'still' a fan of sweater vests and pocket squares. I spent an hour with John in the hospital shortly before he passed where we talked about Indycar racing - classical music and God's goodness through the good and bad times! His faith was strong and his future secured by the grace and love of Jesus Christ. Blessings my friend! John was a gracious man and loved to share compliments when invited over for dinner!! He loved to send us emails which were either funny or very interesting !! Yes, he loved Jesus and loved singing the amazing praise songs that our choir shared on Sunday mornings. He sang even when on oxygen during his last few months. He will not be soon forgotten!!!

We will miss John, especially for the joy he brought to his friends, his charm, and his love of the Lord, which was contagious. He and Julie made a stunning couple, the glamour girl and the gentleman! He is with his Heavenly Father now and singing with the angel choir!
