To Pat, Kathy and John,

Our heartfelt sympathies to you all on the passing of John. He was a great guy and we have very fond memories of him. My you find peace in all your happy memories of your dear husband and father.

So sorry to hear about the passing of John, I spent many a Friday night at the Gerry talking with John about sports. He was a great guy. Now Charlie Rhodes has another friend at the "round table" in heaven. Ned Brady

What can you say about one of the funniest men God put on this earth? John was a gifted maestro of all stories, he regaled us in both true and sometimes tall tales but no matter what he could bring a room full of people to a level of laughter that was indescribable. May God bless him.

When my father died almost forty years ago, the first person to appear at our home was a big hearted man who offered any thing he could to help the grieving family of his friend. That big hearted man was, John McCarthy, he was, and always will be, simply the best.
