Condolences to the McCorkle Family. I have just found out about Jackie's passing. He was one of the most enjoyable young guys we all knew. growing up in the era of our Dorchester youth. Baseball and hockey games down at Wainwright, and St.Matthews Little League at Roberts Field. Bumped into him a few times, later on in life, when participating in softball and golfing events, with mutual events.
I'll always remember Jackie McCorkle, accompanied by his memorable personality, and welcoming smile. Rest In Peace, my boyhood friend.

Grew up with Jackie in Dorchester. One of the nicest people I´ve ever known. Always a gentleman. So sorry to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I remember him back in the days of Norwood youth hockey.
Talked with him many times after.
Most memorable on a jet plane coming back from Chicago!
