I will forever treasure the smile and laughter that was always there anytime I ran into John. I first met John while working at Patterson Lumber and his attitude and demeanor were infectious, always pleasant, never a bad or negative spirit. I worked with him at the Alano Club on Bingo nights when it was on Riverside Blvd. and we ran into each other at North Suburban Library sharing our avid love of great authors and books. I am very grateful to have known John and the man he had become thanks to God and AA recovery!!
Love you John and prayers for your family!!

Sad to hear this... John was a friend of my Dads, Don Listerud. I remember many of childhood weekends at John and Cathy's home playing with his children John and Tracy. Sending prayers to the family.

To family and friends your loved one has touched your lives in some way that you can grow from. They will always be remembered if you pass on what you learned from them to the next generation. Jeremiah 29:11,12
